Notes

Argentina's National Atomic Energy Commission announced plans on 6 June 2025 to deploy four ACR-300 SMR modules at the Atucha nuclear site. The ACR-300 is a 300 MWe commercial-scale evolution of the CAREM SMR design. The four modules would nearly double Argentina's installed nuclear capacity. At least 70% of components are expected to be sourced from Argentine companies. Operational date source: World Nuclear News article, published June 2025, states within five years.
