Two Guohe One units, an enlarged version of the CAP1000 derived from the Westinghouse AP1000, forming the initial phase of a Shandong plant that is eventually to have six units. Approved by China's State Council on July 31, 2026; SPIC is responsible for investment, construction and operation and calls it the first standardised, batch-built Guohe One project approved. No investment figure or schedule has been announced.
