Last Energy secured a lease at the Texas A&M-RELLIS Campus and signed the first known Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) between the DOE and a reactor developer — anticipating a 2026 criticality demonstration using the PWR-5 pilot reactor. Last Energy was selected for the DOE Reactor Pilot Program in August 2025, has a procured full core load of fuel, and received a financial Letter of Intent from the US Export-Import Bank. The Texas A&M-RELLIS Campus serves as the test site for Last Energy's pilot reactor, validating the PWR-20 commercial design ahead of UK and Poland deployments. This is the smallest reactor design in Last Energy's portfolio at approximately 5 MWe.
