Copenhagen-based Seaborg Technologies is developing the Compact Molten Salt Reactor (CMSR) designed for deployment on barges — enabling nuclear power for coastal and island communities. The company is targeting Southeast Asia as its primary market, particularly Indonesia and the Philippines. Seaborg has partnerships with Samsung Heavy Industries for the barge hull design.
