Meta signed an agreement with TerraPower in January 2026 for multiple Natrium reactors targeting power supply as early as 2032. Meta is one of the largest data centre operators globally and is pursuing a multi-pronged nuclear strategy including SMRs from multiple developers. TerraPower has estimated it can bring costs down to $50–60 per megawatt-hour at scale.
