Notes

In February 2025, Texas A&M University selected Terrestrial Energy's IMSR plant in a competitive process for deployment at its RELLIS campus — a major commercial validation for the Integral Molten Salt Reactor. Texas A&M RELLIS is a research and advanced technology campus near Bryan, Texas. The selection followed Terrestrial Energy's completion of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission Vendor Design Review Phase 2 in 2023 — a regulatory first for a Generation IV reactor in Canada. The deployment will supply clean heat and power to the campus and demonstrate IMSR technology for commercial scale-up.
