X-energy is developing a four-pack 320 MWe Xe-100 plant at Dow Chemical's site in Seadrift, Texas, as part of the DOE Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program. Amazon made a $700 million investment in X-energy in 2025. Dow has indicated it will not commit final investment until around 2028. NRC targeting 18-month construction permit review.
