Construction began July 2022. On 3 June 2026, the final set of four steam generators were delivered from Atommash plant in Volgodonsk, completing delivery of key reactor hall equipment. Each steam generator is approximately 14 metres long with 4 metres diameter and weighs about 340 tonnes.
