Cambridge Atomworks signed an MOU with multinational engineering consultancy Mott MacDonald in May 2026 to accelerate development of the Odin microreactor — a design focused on delivering power for energy-intensive industries and installations in regions with no grid infrastructure. Mott MacDonald brings decades of experience delivering integrated solutions for large-scale nuclear projects. Cambridge Atomworks targets the UK's significant off-grid industrial and defence energy market.
