Centrus Energy is executing a multi-billion-dollar expansion of its uranium enrichment capacity at the Piketon, Ohio site — the only US domestic HALEU production facility. The expansion is supported by a $900 million Department of Energy task order. Centrus announced engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partnerships including with Fluor Corporation. The company carries a $3.8 billion backlog and 2026 revenue guidance of $425-475 million. Palantir Technologies was brought in as an AI partner in March 2026 to optimise project execution using Foundry and AIP software — identifying nearly $300 million in potential cost savings.
