SPARC is a compact, high-field tokamak being built by CFS at its headquarters in Devens, Massachusetts. Assembly began in March 2025. SPARC is designed to demonstrate net fusion energy with a fusion gain greater than 10, producing 50-100 MW of fusion power. By January 2026, the first of 18 toroidal field magnets was completed.
