Notes

The DOE announced four additional company selections for its Advanced Reactor Demonstration Programme in April 2026, with the programme remaining open for additional applicants through July 2026. The April 2026 selections supplement the original ARDP awards to X-energy (Xe-100) and TerraPower (Natrium) and the Risk Reduction awards to Kairos Power, Terrestrial Energy, Westinghouse, and others. The expanded ARDP reflects the DOE's strategy of broadening the commercial advanced reactor demonstration pipeline beyond the initial two flagship projects. Specific company names were not publicly disclosed in the DOE's one-year executive order progress report.
