Notes

The DOE opened DOME — the world's first dedicated microreactor test facility — at Idaho National Laboratory to advanced reactor developers. DOME provides a controlled environment where microreactor developers can test their designs before commercial deployment. Multiple DOE Reactor Pilot Programme companies are targeting the DOME facility for their initial deployment milestones in 2026, including Oklo (July 4, 2026 target), Radiant Nuclear (summer 2026), and others. The DOME facility is central to the DOE's strategy of accelerating advanced nuclear technology demonstration on federal lands.
