Google has the most diversified and detailed advanced nuclear strategy of any hyperscaler: a 500 MW Master Plant Development Agreement with Kairos Power signed October 2024 targeting 6-7 FHR reactors by 2035 with first unit in 2030; and a 1.8 GW three-site agreement with Elementl Power signed May 2025. Combined commitment totals approximately 2.3 GW. Google is also funding three nuclear site developments with Elementl at 600 MW minimum each. In total Google plans to spend $75 billion on data centre capacity in 2026 alone, with advanced nuclear a central component of its clean energy strategy.
