An expanded agreement between Google and Kairos Power in August 2025 provides Google with renewable energy attributes to decarbonise its data centres served by the Tennessee Valley Authority in Tennessee and Alabama. The deal positions Kairos Power reactors within TVA's seven-state service region — a major grid integration milestone. TVA serves approximately 10 million people across Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia. First unit targets 2030 with additional reactors through 2035.
