Notes

Last Energy secured a lease at the Texas A&M RELLIS Campus and is deploying its PWR-5 pilot reactor under the DOE Reactor Pilot Programme — targeting criticality in 2026. The PWR-5 is a scaled derivative of Last Energy's commercial PWR-20 and uses standard full-length PWR fuel. Last Energy raised over $100 million in an oversubscribed Series C in December 2025 led by the Astera Institute. The company has also secured a Texas site to build 30 microreactors commercially.
