Following the near-completion of the first ACP100 Linglong One unit in Hainan, CNNC is planning multiple follow-on deployments across China. The modular design is intended for serial production targeting economies of scale. China's rapid deployment pace significantly outstrips Western competitors and the government has approved a major expansion of nuclear capacity to 200 GW by 2035.
