Meta entered into a separate agreement with Constellation Energy in June 2025 to purchase power from a nuclear facility in Illinois — the Braidwood Nuclear Generating Station, a two-unit PWR near Joliet. The deal supplements Meta's January 2026 Vistra PPA for its Ohio plants and forms part of Meta's comprehensive nuclear procurement strategy for its PJM data centre operations. Constellation Energy is the largest US nuclear operator running 21,000 MW of carbon-free nuclear capacity.
