Meta signed a 20-year agreement with Vistra for 140 MW of uprate energy and capacity from the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania as part of the January 9, 2026 announcement. Beaver Valley is a two-unit PWR in Shippingport, Pennsylvania. The uprate is expected online in the early 2030s. Together the Perry, Davis-Besse, and Beaver Valley uprates total 433 MW — the largest nuclear uprates supported by a corporate customer in US history.
