Trondheimsleia Kjernekraft — a partnership between the Aure and Heim municipal governments, local energy company NEAS, and Norsk Kjernekraft — is conducting a feasibility study with KHNP on deploying multiple i-SMR reactors in the Norwegian municipalities of Aure and Heim. Korea Eximbank is providing study support. Norsk Kjernekraft has also signed an MOU with Ocean-Power to develop floating nuclear power plant concepts for Norwegian coastal and maritime energy applications.
