NuScale completed the Phase 2 Front-End Engineering and Design study for the RoPower Doicești project in late 2025 through Fluor as EPC. A final investment decision was originally targeted for early Q2 2026 but is now expected mid-to-late 2026 or early 2027. RoPower ownership has shifted to Nuclearelectrica (50%) and Nova Power and Gas (50%) following restructuring. Infrastructure from the former coal-fired plant has been removed from site. The US Export-Import Bank has approved up to $99 million in financial commitment.
