ENTRA1 Energy and TVA signed a non-binding agreement to deploy up to 6 gigawatts of NuScale SMR capacity across TVA's seven-state service region — the largest SMR deployment commitment in US history. ENTRA1 holds global exclusive rights to NuScale's SMR technology. The programme is supported by the US-Japan Framework Agreement under which ENTRA1 is positioned to receive up to $25 billion in investment capital. NuScale completed the Phase 2 FEED study for its Romania project and has $836 million in cash reserves as of end-2025.
