Notes

Oklo broke ground on its Aurora Powerhouse project at Idaho National Laboratory in September 2025, targeting the DOE Reactor Pilot Programme's July 4, 2026 initial deployment milestone with commercial operations planned for late 2027 or early 2028. The Aurora Powerhouse is a 15 MWe sodium-cooled, metal-fuelled fast reactor based on the Experimental Breeder Reactor-II operating heritage. Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is the lead constructor. The project has secured HALEU fuel from INL. Oklo CEO Jacob DeWitte: the Aurora is designed for rapid deployment to serve industrial, defence, and data centre customers.
