10 MW pool-type non-nuclear test system using electrical heaters to simulate nuclear fuel. Reproduces the LFR-AS-30 demonstration reactor at reduced scale. Vessel manufactured by Fucina Italia in Piombino, Tuscany. Weighs 20 tonnes empty, over 155 tonnes when filled with lead and internal components. Will generate electricity using a turbine supplied by FINCANTIERI. Main vessel installed May 2026 at ENEA Brasimone. Scheduled for completion 2026.
