Radiant Nuclear signed a deal with deposits from Equinix — a leader in global digital infrastructure operating over 260 data centres — to purchase 20 Kaleidos microreactors each producing 1.2 MWe and 3 MWth. This is one of the most commercially significant microreactor deals signed to date, providing Radiant with customer validation ahead of its 2026 INL demonstration. Production from Radiant's Oak Ridge factory is expected to scale to over a dozen units per year by the late 2020s.
