Standard Power, a US IT infrastructure firm, is involved in a reported $37 billion deal for 24 NuScale SMR modules to power its data centres alongside a $1.46 billion equipment supply agreement with Doosan Enerbility. Standard Power is one of the largest single SMR orderbook commitments by any customer globally. NuScale and Doosan were reported to be in final stages of this landmark deal. The project underscores the hyperscaler and tech infrastructure sector's insatiable demand for reliable carbon-free baseload power.
