Terrestrial Energy and The Texas A&M University System signed agreements for the commercial deployment of IMSR reactor and related R&D projects at Texas A&M-RELLIS in Bryan, TX. The agreements provide exclusive access to approximately 77 acres. The IMSR design is a graphite moderated, LEU once-through fueled, fluoride molten salt reactor with power output of 390 MWe / 884 MWth using a replaceable reactor core architecture.
