Uranium Energy Corp (NYSE American: UEC) began ISR production activities at its Burke Hollow mine in South Texas after receiving state approval — targeting completion of construction by November 2025 and operational start-up in December 2025. UEC also acquired Rio Tinto's Sweetwater Plant and Wyoming uranium assets for $175 million, adding approximately 175 million pounds of historic resources and expanding licensed capacity to 12.1 million pounds U3O8 annually. UEC produced approximately 130,000 pounds of uranium concentrate as of July 31, 2025, in its initial production ramp-up — positioning itself as the largest US uranium company by estimated resources and licensed production capacity.
