Vistra signed approximately 3,800 MW of nuclear PPAs with Amazon Web Services (AWS) from its Comanche Peak nuclear facility in Texas — the largest individual nuclear PPA by volume in US history. Comanche Peak is a two-unit PWR in Glen Rose, Texas with approximately 2,430 MW total capacity. The AWS deal combines operating power with planned uprates and is part of AWS's broader clean energy strategy for its US East Coast data centres. Delivery timeline aligns with Vistra's 2026–2034 uprate programme.
