Vistra is investing in an 80 MW uprate at its Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station in Ohio as part of its 20-year Meta PPA agreement. Combined with the Perry (213 MW) and Beaver Valley (140 MW) uprates, Vistra is adding 433 MW of new nuclear capacity to the PJM grid — the most incremental nuclear capacity added by a single company through uprates in US history. The uprate programme extends all four Vistra PJM nuclear plants' operating licences by an additional 20 years.
