X-energy, Amazon, KHNP, and Doosan Enerbility announced a landmark strategic partnership on August 25, 2025 to mobilise up to $50 billion in public and private investment to deploy Xe-100 advanced SMRs and TRISO-X fuel across the United States, aligned with the $350 billion US-South Korea trade deal. AWS aims to enable over 5 GW of new nuclear energy in the US. The collaboration spans reactor engineering design, supply chain development, construction planning, investment strategies, and global AI-nuclear deployment. This is the largest single advanced nuclear partnership announcement in history.
