Notes

First-of-a-kind deployment of the ARC-100 (100 MWe sodium-cooled fast reactor, metallic fuel, supercritical CO2 power cycle) at Idaho National Laboratory. ARC and Battelle Energy Alliance, INL's operating contractor, signed a multiyear Strategic Partnership Project agreement in late July 2026 covering design, materials, modelling, irradiation testing, commissioning and site development; no unit count or dates were given and ARC plans NRC licensing under 10 CFR Part 53. On October 27, 2026 Hyundai Engineering signed an exploratory MOU with ARC on the deployment; Hyundai Engineering cites about 200 MW initially, possibly 600 MW. Capacity is left empty because it is not confirmed by ARC or INL.
