Notes

Prototype Kaleidos microreactor power plant (1 MWe, helium-cooled, TRISO-fuelled) for Naval Weapons Station Crane in Indiana, the Navy's first shore-based microreactor and Indiana's first power-producing reactor. The Department of War announced the site on September 9, 2026, with installation required by September 2028; the Navy selected Radiant Industries as the vendor on October 21, 2026. The project is executed jointly with the Army's Janus Program, and the reactor is described as commercially owned and operated. The number of reactors is not stated (an Army official's remark implies one), and no contract value for this site has been disclosed.
