GE Vernova Hitachi and ORLEN Synthos Green Energy signed an agreement on February 24, 2026 to advance the Polish generic design of the BWRX-300 — a nationally-adapted version of the BWRX-300 for Poland's regulatory framework and industrial ecosystem. This builds on years of cooperation between GVH and OSGE and positions Poland as a major BWRX-300 deployment market. OPG also signed an operator services LOI with OSGE in September 2025 to support Poland's BWRX-300 fleet with pre-operational services from Canada's most experienced nuclear operator.
