Notes

NuScale Power and KGHM Polska Miedź signed a definitive commercial early works agreement on February 14, 2022 in Washington DC in the presence of US and Polish government officials to deploy a VOYGR nuclear power plant of up to 924 MWe in Poland — the first SMR deployment agreement in Central and Eastern Europe. KGHM is a Polish state-controlled copper and silver mining giant and major industrial energy user. The first task order was signed September 7, 2022 at the Economic Forum in Karpacz. The Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment approved the plan. An application for a decision-in-principle was submitted to the Polish government in 2023. Neutron Bytes reported NEI Magazine coverage in March 2026 of a new contract to construct by 2029.
