Joint venture between SGE (majority and managing partner) and ZE PAK's subsidiary PAK SMR to build and operate a plant of up to six GE Vernova Hitachi BWRX-300 reactors, about 1,800 MW in total, at the Pątnów site in Poland, replacing a retiring coal plant. A shareholders' agreement was reported on October 13, 2026; the special-purpose company will be formed once competition approvals are obtained (SGE's website calls the joint venture PAK BWRX S.A.). The prepared site is to be transferred to the company, with payments from 2028 to 2030 and handover planned for 2030. No construction start or operation date has been announced.
