Poland's first SMR will be built at Włocławek under an agreement between ORLEN Synthos Green Energy and GE Hitachi. OSGE leads a 17-company consortium across 11 countries. Selected as a European SMR Alliance project under the European BWRX-300 PWG. Poland is targeting multiple BWRX-300 deployments at former coal plant sites as part of its coal phase-out strategy. Regulatory engagement with Poland's PAA regulator is underway.
