GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy and Samsung C&T announced a strategic alliance on October 1, 2025 to advance BWRX-300 deployment in global markets outside North America. Samsung C&T brings world-class EPC capability, large-scale project management, and existing nuclear construction experience to the alliance. The partnership targets Southeast Asian markets, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and other regions where Samsung C&T has strong industrial relationships. Samsung C&T is also a $70 million investor in NuScale Power, making it a dual-technology nuclear EPC partner.
