Cigar Lake, the world's highest-grade uranium mine, produced 19.1 million pounds U3O8 in 2025, exceeding the annual forecast of 18 million pounds. For 2026, Cameco plans to produce 17.5-18 million pounds. Cigar Lake is 54.5% owned by Cameco, 40.5% by Orano Canada, and 5% by TEPCO Resources. The mine life has been extended to 2036.
