Newcleo is developing a 30 MWe lead-cooled fast neutron test reactor in France. The company submitted its Safety Options Dossier to the French ASNR in January 2026. The reactor will use mixed uranium/plutonium oxide (MOX) fuel. Newcleo has initiated site acquisition and public consultation processes in France.
