Ontario Power Generation and ORLEN Synthos Green Energy signed a Letter of Intent in September 2025 for OPG to provide pre-operational services to OSGE for BWRX-300 deployment in Poland — including site assessment, project management, and consulting services. The LOI lays groundwork for future agreements under which OPG could provide operator services for SMRs in Poland and other European countries. OPG's experience constructing the first BWRX-300 at Darlington makes it uniquely qualified to support OSGE's Polish programme as a knowledge transfer partner.
