Radiant Nuclear secured $225 million in funding with DOE partnerships to develop its Kaleidos microreactor — a 1 MWe portable HTGR designed for military bases and remote industrial sites. The reactor is designed for rapid deployment and can be transported by standard shipping containers. Radiant is targeting US military bases as its primary early market.
