Radiant Nuclear, also referred to in its primary-source materials as Radiant Industries, is a U.S. reactor developer focused on Kaleidos, a transportable 1-MWe microreactor designed for factory assembly, passive air cooling, helium heat transfer, and TRISO fuel. On 2026-07-23, the U.S. Department of Energy conditionally selected Radiant for a second HALEU allocation to support a planned Kaleidos deployment at Buckley Space Force Base. This followed Radiant's 2026-07-01 receipt of its first TRISO fuel shipment at Idaho National Laboratory's DOME facility for full-power testing, which it says will support commercial licensing and planned 2028 customer deliveries.
