BWXT Advanced Technologies is the advanced reactor division of BWXT Technologies developing compact microreactors for military and remote applications. Selected as one of eight vendors for the DoD Advanced Nuclear Power for Installations programme in April 2025. BWXT simultaneously received $21.42 million in DOE funding in May 2026 for its Indiana facility to expand reactor pressure vessel assembly capability.
