This Privacy Policy explains how SMR Brief Pro ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use pro.smrbrief.com (the "Service").

1. What we collect

• Account data: your name and email address when you sign up.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, search queries, and aggregate analytics. Used to improve the platform.
• Payment details: processed by our payment provider, LemonSqueezy. We never see or store full card numbers — we only receive a customer ID, subscription status, and billing email.
• Communications: messages you send to support or via the contact form.

2. How we use it

• To operate the platform and provide the features you subscribe to.
• To send essential service emails (receipts, alerts you opted into, password resets).
• To send the SMR Brief newsletter and product updates if you opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• For internal analytics to understand how the platform is used and improve it.

3. Where data is stored

Application data is stored in our managed backend (Supabase) with servers in the EU and US. Payment data is stored by LemonSqueezy. Email delivery is handled by our transactional email provider.

4. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export a copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and core functionality. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes (e.g. invoices).

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via an in-app notice.
