Reactor Pressure Vessel (320 tonnes) installed inside reactor building at unit 5 following Major Equipment Erection clearance from AERB. Kudankulam will have six VVER-1000 units. Units 1&2 already in operation. Work underway on units 3-6. Total site capacity will be 6,000 MWe upon completion.
