Notes

Concrete pouring has begun for the reactor shaft at the eighth unit of Leningrad nuclear power plant (Leningrad II-4). The reinforced concrete structure will stand 34 metres tall. First five tiers to be completed over three months. Core catcher housing to be installed in July 2026, with reactor installation beginning in H2 2029. The unit will replace older RBMK-1000 units as part of Rosatom's fleet replacement program.
