Notes

MYRRHA (Multi-purpose hYbrid Research Reactor for High-tech Applications) is a lead-bismuth cooled accelerator-driven system under development at SCK-CEN in Mol, Belgium. Though primarily a research reactor, MYRRHA is a key technology demonstrator for lead-cooled fast reactor technology underpinning the ALFRED and EAGLES-300 commercial SMR programmes. Belgium received €558 million in European funding for MYRRHA. First beam expected by 2030.
