Dutch-French molten salt reactor developer Thorizon is at Step 2 of the French ASNR regulatory review (preparatory review) alongside Naarea and Calogena. In May 2026 Thorizon signed a strategic MOU with Hyundai Engineering & Construction to advance MSR development and deployment. Thorizon also partnered with Naarea on molten salt reactor development. The company has a presence in both the Netherlands and France and is pursuing licensing through both French and Dutch regulatory pathways.
