Clinton Clean Energy Center is a 1,070 MWe boiling water reactor in Clinton, DeWitt County, Illinois operated by Constellation Energy. Meta signed a 20-year PPA with Constellation in June 2025 to purchase the entire energy output of Clinton — saving it from retirement following the anticipated expiration of Illinois tax credits. The Clinton plant feeds the MISO grid. The Meta PPA provides long-term revenue certainty for one of the largest single nuclear plants in the US Midwest.
